Hello Everyone.
As this is my first blog im guessing I should introduce myself :)
My name is Lauren Barnett, and I am 12 years old.
Just because Im twelve years old it doesn't automatically make me an immature stupid little girl.
I am actually known as the most maturest and smartest out of my friends.
My life is very simple,
it revolves around only a few things.
Dance, Music, Friends + Family.
That is all I need.
And a few other special things called Food and Water.
DANCE
I have been dancing since I was 3 years old.
I did Jazz and when I was 4 I started Tap.
As I grew older I danced at many schools, but was never satisfied.
I kept looking at more schools, and by the time I was 8, I found this special place called Dance Xtreme.
I started in Under 10/12 Jazz and did a Tap Duo with my friend Jessica Kalleske. I ended up getting bored of tap, idontknow, it just wasnt my thing. So I quit that. The next year I tried something new and as well as doing Under 12 Jazz, I did a solo.
I was very nervous as I have to admit that I have terrible stagefright.
But it was alot of fun and in the end of year concert I was very proud of myself.Last year (2007), I did the same.
Under 12 Jazz and Jazz solo.
Now in 2008, I have started more new things, as I want to get far in dancing and get more stronger.
I do Jazz troupe and a Jazz solo still, but have now started ballet and modern.
I think I am getting much stronger and using more muscles then I ever have before.
LOL im sorry I did this big talk about dancing, but this is really how much I love it.
